What is UKa$ii?
UKasii (You-kashee) is a completely mobile Blockchain Rewards Program for consumers and eCommerce Platform for retailers, built on blockchain technology and planned for launch in Nigeria in December 2019, before expanding to other African states.
UKasii is inherently simple allowing customers to earn “cash” for cash spent in the form of rewards currency called Kasii Tokens.
UKasii allows for fast payments via mobile phone.
UKasii allows customers to earn Kasii Tokens at one business and spend it at another.
UKasii allows businesses to target customers to provide genuinely relevant personal offers and benefits.
Increase Disposable Income
You will earn “cash-back” rewards for spending cash, thus UKasii will facilitate wealth through credit growth.
Data will be given back to you, and you only, where it will remain private, unless otherwise decided by you. You will decide if you wish to reveal more about yourself to brands, in return for additional benefits.
Location Based Currency
No matter where you are in the world, you will see your UKasii and Kasii rewards currency in local currency on the UKasii app. For example, if you have earned N36,000 Kasii in Lagos, this will appear as the equivalent in ZAR if you travel to Cape Town, and USD if you travel to the United States.
You will be able to send Kasii to friends and family anywhere in the world where UKasii is accepted.
The UKasii app will indicate where Kasii is accepted and can be earned as a cash-back currency. You will be able to make all of your purchase transactions via mobile phone, no matter where you may be in the world, using the Kasii Token as currency where UKasii is accepted.
Increased Customer reach
The UKasii eCommerce Platform will provide access to a larger potential customer base via its network effect, culminating from the generous earning incentives for customers.
Larger Partner Network
UKasii Partners will become part of a larger local, regional and potentially global partner network, without the need for working on bilateral agreements.
UKasii Partners offering the Kasii Token will earn additional monthly revenue based on the level of customer spend by UKasii customers.
The UKasii eCommerce Platform will allow partners to extract reports from large and varied data sets to uncover market trends and pinpoint customer preferences to make better marketing decisions in creating campaigns.
Real Time Campaigns
Partners will be able to send promotional push messages via the UKasii eCommerce Platform for “upsell” campaigns while the customer is in store, without the need for NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.
By accepting and utilising UKasii, consumers and corporations alike will be investing in their local communities through social projects, to support and enable the less affluent and those at a disadvantage to progress in life.

By using the UKasii cash-back Rewards Program built on blockchain, consumers and merchants will be contributing and having a direct impact on the development of their region.
UKasii users and merchants will be able to nominate causes as well as track the progress of UKasii CSR projects, news updates of which will be provided via push notification to the UKasii mobile app, partner portal and on this website.
Important Notice Regarding the UKa$ii Blockchain Rewards and eCommerce Platform
As you may be aware, the UKasii Blockchain Rewards and eCommerce Platform was planned for launch in Nigeria, in April this year. However, due to an unexpected, overlong delay with the approval of the Nigeria Business Permit, we’re having to postpone the date of the UKasii ICO, and as such, the Rewards and eCommerce product launch date.
We still intend for Nigeria to be our launch market.
The UKasii Nigeria entity (UKasii Loyalty Nigeria) was incorporated in August 2018, in line with our declared timeline in the UKasii White paper. However the approval of the Business Permit, which is the final document requiring sign off before companies can legally start doing business in Nigeria - and requires the signature of the Minister for the Interior - took much longer for approval than anticipated due to the General Election in Nigeria in February this year.
We have now received our Business Permit, signed on 12th March 2019, and will share the new dates for the UKasii ICO in the coming weeks and our website will be updated accordingly.

Who We Are
Mustafa lead the business growth and development of the airline industry’s leading frequent flyer / loyalty platform, which was acquired by the world’s largest travel IT provider, Amadeus Group, in April 2013.
With a deep knowledge of product, branding, services management, sales & marketing, business process optimisation and technology, and over 20 years airline and travel industry experience, Mustafa's charmingly unpretentious approach to commerce and commercial relationships has enabled him to maintain a continued track record of success.
From untangling "diplomatic crises" between major airlines and governmental organisations, to negotiating multi-million dollar technology contracts, to designing award winning advertising campaigns, Mustafa is a grounded and disciplined management executive.
Mustafa's main focus has always been streamlining end to end operations within an organisation. He led the internal restructuring of Turkish Airlines loyalty department and program Miles and Smiles, which became a member of Star Alliance under his guidance as well as leading the commercial integration of Hitit CS' Loyalty Division into Amadeus, post acquisition.
Born in 1971, Mustafa is a graduate of the streets, and the University of Huddersfield, well travelled and has lived and worked in London, New Jersey, Hong Kong and Istanbul; all of which have served to fine tune and mature his perception of people, commerce and the world in general.
Advisor to the Founder
Rob Prophet is an international business executive with extensive multi-cultural experience spanning 25 years and has assisted global brands such as Delta Airlines, Air France / KLM, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Korean Air.
With over a decade of successful consulting experience behind him, Rob works with various governments, international organisations and investment banks such as The African Union, The IMF, Lancea Partners of London City, and the city-state of Singapore.
He is specialist turn-around strategist and a consultant to airports, transitional government bodies and African start-up carriers.
Rob’s position as Advisor to the Founder is underpinned by his wealth of experience developing and managing commercial activity across Central Africa and an unblemished track-record of conceptualising and linking conceptual strategy to pragmatic implementation.
Rob’s true passion lies in working and guiding emerging markets, with regards to economically sustainable strategies and national economic growth. In this area he has worked with 3 of the top 6 Oil & Gas production governments in Africa, achieved 2 successful airline turnarounds (including the largest Low Cost Carrier on the African Continent), the newly launched National Carrier of Congo-Brazzaville (ECAir), and the largest African VC bank in Africa (Afrimexbank).
Rob comes from a multicultural family background and holds Canadian, Dutch and South African citizenship. This mix of cultural understanding has allowed him to live and work in 23 countries across the globe, ranging from the USA to Mexico, to Malawi to Oman, and Korea.
Rob holds MBA and MBI degrees.
Chinelo is a talented International Corporate / Commercial lawyer, based in Nigeria, with a specialist background in Human Resources. She represents and advises both foreign and Nigerian startups / clients relating to Oil and Gas, aviation, maritime, logistics, telecommunications, project management and corporate governance.
As a graduate from the University of Bradford UK, she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012, with 6 years’ experience.
Chinelo has successfully grown a Nigerian start up to an international standard and has also advised both local and international clients on principles of contract, labour and employment, management and investment opportunities in Nigeria as well as procedures and the applicable laws. She also participates in due diligence exercises conducted on companies targeted for investment, mergers and acquisitions.
In her spare time, she volunteers with various non-profit organisations such as K’odimma initiative For Human Development and the Osisioma Foundation.
Chinelo is currently part of the team organizing TEDx Nza Street in Enugu, Nigeria.
Non Executive Director
Ravindra Bhagwanani is Founder and Managing Director of Global Flight, a leading consultancy in the area of travel loyalty programs, set up in 1996 and is one of the prominent global experts in travel loyalty programs.
Under his guidance and direct involvement, Global Flight has worked with over 50 companies in the industry over its history, covering various sectors. As such, Ravindra has direct access to the latest market developments and helps to influence them. Along with his role at UKasii, Ravindra sits on the advisory boards of a small number of other handpicked companies in the loyalty industry.
Ravindra graduated as aeronautical engineer at the Berlin University of Technology and the Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) in Toulouse. He is fluent in several major languages, including English, French, German and Spanish.
Under Ravindra's chairmanship, Global Flight also organises the annual Loyalty & Awards Conference, the largest dedicated gathering in the travel loyalty industry.
Ravindra was born in Switzerland in 1969 and is married with one son.
Omer T. Zaim
Non Executive Director
Omer is a business management and Information Technology consultant with a background spanning over 25 years, delivering technology modernisation and platform improvements for high-end global organisations from a wide range of industry.
Known for the unique combination of his affable personality and dynamic leadership skills, Omer’s business ethics have allowed him to serve clients including BSkyB (UK), Channel 5 (UK), Richemont, Cartier, D-LINK, UK Health Care and Public Sectors, among many others, enabling them to change and adapt to new technology platforms.
With a strong focus on solution design, strategic planning, business systems and service analysis, Omer also has a deep understanding of technology within application support / development, ERP systems management, Information & Data Security and Infrastructure.
Omer has been an early adopter of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency and has installed mining rigs of scale for various cryptocurrencies. He has supported cryptocurrency investors across more than 50 different locations and has been instrumental in educating, supporting and setting up collaboration seminars for organisations, providing consultancy and delivering ICO evaluations for cryptocurrency investment opportunities.
